GRM New Year Game, 2018! (round 5???)

Finally got mine out. Hope this year's box fares better than last year's, which completely disintegrated and was delivered in a tote.

Not at my address- I put a blanket and bowls of food and water out for the NYG package that will be arriving here.

So, has anyone topped my box weight yet?   It was 26 pounds 10.4 ounces.

And is there a prize for sending out the heaviest?  Maybe some internet points?  Or do you just get bragging rights?

Man, I thought mine was pretty good but it was only 17lbs 14oz. Maybe I should have included more brake parts. 

Mine went out today! ETA 2 days.

Yep.  Ballast included a completely used up brake rotor, TR4 hub and knock-off spinner, 2 inch trailer ball, two hammers and heavy old fashioned long handle plyers.

I was at 22 something. You got me beat. 

Apparently I woefully under-ballasted mine. I was also afraid ballast might have broke something I put in there.

Easy solution to this problem: only send worthless junk like I did.    (Sorry victim)

Worked on my box last night.  Large flat rate is about 3/5 full.  I aim for max capacity.  

I hope you like lead fishing bobbers and AAA batteries!

I didn't intentionally ballast mine, though it did end up moderately heavy. 

*sigh* Still didn't have time last night to unpack the one I received. It's #2 on my list of things to do when I get back from work this evening... though unfortunately #1 may take essentially all of the evening (hopefully it won't though...).

Got mine out! Hope the recipient likes random electronic things.

Got Imgon's package last week and really enjoyed it, I'll have to post pics to the pictures thread when I get a minute.

And mine is out!    Finally.  Hopefully I receive one soon.

Mine went out yesterday around noon UPS ground, should arrive Tuesday. Sorry for the delay, I had some 'help' reorganizing my garage and lost track of some items I was saving for the game.

I hope I still have my receipt, I think mine was 24 lbs?    It wasn't intentionally ballasted, but I DID clear out some shelf space!

How much does a magic spinning Dorrito weigh?  I've never had one in my hands yet.

Finally packed up and going out tomorrow.  Only a 12 pounder this time.

I wasn't paying attention as the clerk weighed it, and I didn't see the weight on my receipt. It was heavy enough for him to make a comment about it, but I don't think it would have been in the running for a trophy or anything.

I taped up my box tonight. It will go in the a.m.  tourists are gone, I shouldn't have to thunderdome at the post office. 

Did a box get delivered to GRM HQ? I don’t have the tracking info near me but I thought I would see something posted by now.

Yes, got the box--but I'm not at the office right now between the Roar and stuff. I'll open it upon my return. Hopefully we'll do another "unboxing" video as well.
