My box continued....

A tool holder you wear on your wrist.

A sweet yellow Volvo wagon.

2 license plates that say EGAN

A master cylinder!

A small flying Disc!  Cool!

A small pocket knife!

Something that's *good* for a 2001 BMW.

A telephone line tester (NIB).

A socket that cranks up to 11!

Some white plastic things that I have no idea about.

A trophy!

Some sweet stickers!

This was seriously dense!  Great job packing!

I'll update as I get better internet and it's less frustrating to add pics.

Glad you liked it! I don't know what the hell that thing is either. I couldn't find a use for it so it's yours now.

Looked in the WWF bottle yet?

P.S. to the USPS. I in no way shipped fireworks.

Surprised at how useful it is actually

Sparklers are legal in NY, they sell them in grocery stores in the summer. Clearly they're not fireworks.

I didn't dump the water bottle out but it looks filled with change. I will pour it out when I get back from vacation.

Looks like we've got about 70% of our players with posted pics, I'll try to work on it this weekend and follow up with the folks I don't have posts/info on.  I know a couple of packages were in limbo with USPS, fingers crossed they found their way on to their final destination.  Thanks everyone for playing, it's fun to see the stuff in other people's garages, and to get ideas for next year's victims as well!

I sent my box out to Missouri a couple days ago!

Receiver, if I misunderstood some of your FB posts....just ignore a couple of those stickers.

I also received a very well decorated and heavy box...will open it this weekend when son is home from school.

And I just got a notification this afternoon that there's a package waiting for me at my house.

It's a good day to be alive.

Today! I got a box!

I read the 2nd bullet point and wondered if it wouldn't be smarter to ditch the box and take the $100. ;)

opening it up, initially it looks very promising.

next i carefully laid out the loot

it's a wealth of great stickers, a Lego theme folder with 924 and mustang brochures, a REPU hot wheels (sweet), a pair of things to help you find your things, car usb power adapters (probably can't have enough of those), what I think is a harbor freight measuring tape that is from before hf became orange, a clickety wrench, a cozy, a rock auto magnet (how can I have forgotten to add some of mine to my outgoing gift? damn), a 75 year scca coin, a sweet kicker amp that is suspiciously missing 3/4 bolts holding the cover on, a human head sized boost gauge, and, well, a something.

im curious if any sleuthing was done here, because of 2 coincidences.

1 - on a previous challenge car, I used a very similar gauge connected to the manifold as a boost gauge. It was just for fun, and I no longer have the car, but man does this gauge look familiar.

2 (this is the crazy one) - I pulled off the last bolt holding the cover on the amp, as you do. I was hoping to see carnage. And looking inside, nothing looked physically damaged, however the pcb is stamped with a date, and if I'm seeing it right, that date was my 21st birthday. Whoa.

Finally, I'm totally stumped by this. It has an air line fitting and a manual valve, and what looks like a dust collection bag. But it also looks like connecting air and opening the valve would suck things out of the bag. I thought maybe it's like a sandblaster or something that mixes whatever's in the bag into the air stream, but the bag seems way too small for that. I'm guessing that it is part of a larger apparatus? But that's really all I've got.

THANK YOU! Super fun gift! And I can't wait to learn more about the something.

I'm back home again and finally able to turn my attention to the heavy box that came from Wisconsin which, I can only imagine, is full of cheese and custom clutches.

I sliced through the tape with a sheetrock knife and... nothing. Not only was this secured with tape, but It looks like it was glued as well. This guy must be some kind of engineer!

(At least, I hope this is glue indecision)

Wow, completely full and very efficiently packed! The engineer theory seems very plausible.

There's a ton of stuff in here. Right on top was a copy of Sick the magazine, which I've heard of but never seen, so I'm looking forward to reading it.

As soon as I saw the tin of airgun pellets, I was pretty sure that I'd been stalked, because here it is February and I've already bought two new airguns this year. These will certainly get used.

This guy clearly did his homework.

There's also a pair of hi-viz safety gloves as well, but unfortunately, they Do Not Fit...

There's a cool looking flashlight too. I looked directly into it and hit the button to see if the batteries were any good. They were not, which was a good thing because, apparently, I've never seen a laser pointer before.

There's a very cool magnetic tool organizer. I haven't decided how I will set this up yet but it will definitely get some use.

There were a couple of Rock Auto magnets, a roll cage for a Pinewood Derby car, and a rectangle port cylinder head for a small displacement LS engine!

Hot Wheels included the famous Volvo touring wagon and a hard to find Porsche 911, as well a slightly upscaled Bandit Trans Am and some Expert Level zip ties.

Most amazing of all were these hard plastic things in the corner. I saw the threads and thought that they were adjustment sleeves for a set of coilovers, but I wasn't even close.

When I pulled one out, I immediately noticed that they were 3D printed with the GRM logo. Inside, I found a couple of Wisconsin made beers safely secured within! And even better, with the caps removed, you can screw in the accessory tops and use them as coozies! These are AWESOME!

And the beer was really good too... easily among the best that I've had all morning.

According to the directions on the back, it's not made from actual cows.

Thanks and great job! This was a lot of fun!

I have to admit that I completely failed at stalking this year. I was way off the mark. I'm glad that I managed to throw in at least one bicycle part by chance to give the box some relevance.

That BMW part is a DISA valve from a 2001 Z3. I know it's good because when I replaced it with a new one, it didn't fix my problem!

A lot of recycled stuff from boxes past. The printed cylinder head, coozies and Sick the Mag are additions from me. Spotted Cow is like the go to outta-towner beer because it's only sold in Wisconsin and New Glarus Brewery is pretty aggressive with lawsuits against people who transport across state lines to sell. The coozies are a design I came up with a few years ago to send beer in the GRM boxes without the cans being punctured. I'm glad you figured out the drinking lid right away and enjoyed the beer.  I included Violet's favorite wagon but forgot to include dog treats, my apologies. And yes that was hot glue. I glued the bottom for strength and then got carried away on the topside too, I didn't want any junk to escape.

I got my box. I have one of the most dreadful head colds I've had in a while, so I opened it on my bed, the cat was all over me, and I'm probably going to miss something.

The legacy box I got from Michigan dates back to 2024.
It included: two hats which are too small for my giant head, which is a shame, because I really like them. Instead, my daughter will love them. A rotary tool, two clutch alignment tools, a 3d printed screw/nut combo, one of the little toys you try to catch a ball in, assorted Hot Wheels, a small air filter, specimen vials, lab grade copper and iron, a magnetic key box, sockets (three SAE, one 10mm), eight spark plugs, GRM stickers (which I needed, thanks!), MAX CONTROL!!! Stickers, hook and loop fastener tape, CAT5 cables, wire and crimping pliers, a Porsche calendar, two cutoff wheels, a Rock Auto magnet, pencils, the Classic Motorsport Glovebox companion, an extra mile, a multi-meter, and Ah-ooo-di key chain, and four (4) beer bottle caps. Oh, and a few two cent stamps.

Whew. Thank you very much for the well done box, GHO!

That champcar hat was one I sent out at one point, I'm pretty sure.

I believe it says 5th or 6th or something on the side.

That was from the champcar national championship held when Ozarks first opened.

Good times.

Same same here here. Tracking number shows it as delivered earlier this week. Hopefully it is actually in the recipient's posession and not strowed across a convenient ditch by a disillusioned porch pirate.
