GRM/CM get together in NOLA?

Who would be up for a get together in NOLA and what would you like to do? We have a new track that I am planning on visiting to check out.

So before I put alot of time and effort into this I guess a preliminary head count is in order so:

Who would come? (You and guests?) What would you like to do? (Motorsports, general social, music and drink, etc all of the above) When would you like to have it? (timing is everything)

(I live in Central Florida, but was born in N.O. and grew up in Slidell, moved away in my late twenties)

I was just there for rallycross and its a really nice facility. I'd love to get together for a day where we could get on the road course or at least do the draggin' lap thingie that they do. Finish up with some eats at the cafe and carts until we vomit and call it a day. I'm in for any weekend outside of June July August because I'm too far away then and its stupid hot.

I think it would be fun to get some runs in the rental karts, everybody seems to enjoy them. I also live in the area.

So am I, do you race karts at NOLA? I remember seeing someone in a GRM t-shirt at a test and tune one weekend a while back, but didn't have a chance to talk.

No, the move and selling the house in TN got the funds kind of tight. Gave it serious thought though. So we have at least 2 for a NOLA GRM get together!

Well, 3 maybe. I'll come if it's something awesome, but it's a 6 hour drive so I can't exactly pop over for drinks and a kart ride.

Well hell at this rate we will just go to the Taproom and reenact fast and the furious around old courthouse till we get arrested.
