(Yes, I know Joan Jett did it better. She always does it better. Just gotta give credit where credit is due)

I don’t get it myself but he could have probably gotten my wife or her sisters with a trip to Ted’s. It seems like a good move up there.
I think it means "this girl deserves my A game".
Now I want to try Ted's.
You need to try Ted's.
Mine is dorky, I used to play a mobile game called Game of War, she played some other game. We both went on a different app for networking and gaming so players can coordinate and whatnot.
After talking for about a year (I lived in Seattle, she lived in San Jose) I finally flew down to meet her. The first days were incredible, then we spent the next year flying back and forth about every three weeks or so until I finally decided to just pack my E36 M3 and move down here.

I've contemplated getting a custom plate that says NOCRUST

If you're think of going to Ted's, kids eat free during the apocalypse.
Grad school.
She was an Ag Econ major, I was an Environmental Science major. Her grad advisor taught a class called Economics of Environmental Policy (or Management or something) . Her advisor also happened to be on my grad committee, so it was a good idea to take the class. I was already a semester into grad school, she started the following spring semester.
She walked in the door, and caught my eye right away, I even thought to myself, "I need to get to know her."
Lucky me, she had already made friends with some of my friends that were in her department, and taking the same class, so she came and sat by us.
Not so lucky me, she was attached, had a fella back home. Also my oh-so-charming sarcasm wasn't as endearing to her as I had hoped. After first being introduced she told me she actually knew my sister (had met her anyway) to which I responded, "I do too."
She claims that her first impression of me, was that I was an shiny happy person.
Thankfully, that class had a lot of group work, so we spent a lot of time together, had a study group that met at her appartmetn, and about half way through that semester she and her fella back home split.
There was mutual attraction, but we kept it professional until after finals.
Though we did find every opportunity for social outings with friends, I took her fishing, installed a radio in her car, went to church together, baseball games, any excuse to be around her.
Her ex was in town around the end of the semester, he knew where she lived, had helped her moved in. She didn't want to be around him, and asked if she could hide out at my place on the other side of town, for the weekend, to avoid him, and study of course.
We've been together ever since. 14 years this May.
As a side note, the OP has one post, and never posted again.
I think "how did you meet your spouse," "in what city did you meet your spouse," and "in what city were you married," are gaining popularity as a security questions, too.
Double date. We weren't dating each other at the time, but we got married a couple of months later. That was 34 years ago.
