there are 568 people with my last name listed, and we are concentrated in the great lakes region.

and only two with my first and last name, which are me and my dad.

i gather if your name is john brown, there are way more than two of you. but if you changed your legal name to quasimofo brown you might be more of an original.

Funny though, her brother got married about a year before we did, and married a girl with my wife's first name, so for a while, there were two young ladies within two years of age with the same name in the same immediate family. Was kind of a logistical PITA.

There's a rack ton of Medfords in Texas for some reason. Nobody I know.

I find this amusing, since I got my last name through a clerical error in 1921. German letter pronunciation vs. English pronunciation.

There was someone with my mother's first and last name in the same city where we lived in the 80s. Elderly woman of no relation whatsoever.

According to that site, 75 in the US with my last name. Oddly enough, some of the hits in Michigan are the same as names of people we're related to (Uncle George, etc) but they have or at least should have a different last name. Site has some missing info: My Mom is listed with the wrong last name - she took a different name quite a ways back. Neither my youngest aunt is nor I have a listing.
