Not sure what this is. Rant? Bragging? Annoying? I've been thinking about how I've been using my time for the last month and the numbers are interesting so I thought I'd put it somewhere.
Here's what an average week has looked like lately:
Real job: 45hrs
Commuting: 8hrs
Vehicle projects: 28hrs
Vehicle/parts sales: 3hrs
Different vehicles worked on (avg): 6
So on an average day I spend around 12hrs on either projects or my job, not accounting for drive time involved in stuff other than commuting. It's also worth noting that I only typically see one or two different vehicles per week at my job, so those other 4-5 are mine or friends' stuff. It feels like a bit much so it's nice to write it down and stare at it.
If you want to share your numbers for those, or other, categories I guess post them?
I refuse to add these numbers up because it will show that I have zero free time and way too many commitments.
Day job 50 hrs +/-2.
Watching YouTube 43.25 hrs.
Basically I'm doing absolutely nothing with my life.

Truth.
7 days a week, busy for at least 18 hours a day.....
In reply to Nick Comstock :

When I saw the thread title I wondered if you were keeping spreadsheets of your time now too
Real job: 50h +/-5rs
Commuting: 10hrs
Vehicle projects: 5hrs
Vehicle/parts sales: 5hrs
Different vehicles worked on (avg): 7

I made a new year's resolution this year to spend at least 5 hrs per week working on projects I like. And to document it. So far I'm doing ok, but I missed the target this last week because I went out of town with my wife for a quick vacation.

Refuse to add these up cause it MAY show that I’m a lazy SOB.

I like your log book idea. That might help me. My problem is definitely project saturation/overload, so when I get home I look at everything I need to do, I get overwhelmed and escape to YouTube instead of doing anything constructive.
I sleep an average 38 hours a week. (Think about that for a second) That leaves a lot of free time. I have no money to exploit said free time.
Work - 40 hours
Commuting - ~1.25 hours
Cooking - 10 hours per week
Cars - I'm too lazy to work on my one and only vehicle lately.
Free Time for binge watching TV and movies is about to go way down. I've got to get into the gym and start working on getting the flower beds and stuff done in the front yard.........which is going to be no small task.
37.5 hours/week work
0 hours commuting
25 hours/week pet duty
8 hours/week practicing music
44 hours/week sleeping
10 hours/week other chores/duties
8 hours online(beyond time included in the above)
For the last week:
Work: 50 hours
”commuting”: 1 hour
Getting kids home from school: 2.5 hours
Pets: 14 hours (we have a new puppy)
Work on car/projects: about 4 hours (hard to keep track because it’s interrupted time)
The rest of my time is just family type stuff- make dinner, kids need something, laundry, school projects, etc.
Work: 40 hours
Commuting: 6 hours
Class : 6 hours
Rest is a mix of trying to make homework and other problems fit in there somewhere.
Sitting on my ass thanks too back surgery- every hour of the week. Even when I'm healthy I'm not sure I'm that motivated
I spend 4 hours minimum driving kids around. Today it was about 6. I spend time doing other things, but that dominates my life for the rest of this year. Next year kid#2 can drive himself. I underestimated how rough this year was going to be.
