A student went for a hike and came across this car in the brush. Ideas? I told him GRM should know.

Clearly, a green car.

4 door post sedan and 2 tone paint guarantees 1950s. The tone swap on the rear door is unique. Similar to a 56 Pontiac, but that's on the front door. Dodge Coronets had the break on the rear door. 59's had a wider stripe, 58's were narrow but not typically painted this fashion with the break in the middle. I'm going with 1957 Dodge Coronet 4 door post sedan.

It could also be a 1957 Dodge Custom Royal

JAV nailed it. I knew it was 50's MoPar from the shape of the two-tone on the quarter. Plus, check out that wacky kink in the A pillar.

I could probably post a single bolt on the forum, and someone here would still be able to identify the car it came from.

In reply to Colin Wood :

Honestly! Sometimes when I play Cardle and it shows me a single door panel I'm like "how can anyone guess this?!" Then I check the forum and I feel silly for not noticing that the single curve in the door that was the key to everything.
