I'm watching SNL, and I have no clue who the host or musical guest is.
What rock are you living under that you don't know who Adam Levine is?
I don't particularly care for their music, but I definitely am AWARE of Maroon 5...
Kendrick Lamar is also not my cup of tea, but I've heard of him.
I've heard of Bruce Springsteen but he sounds terrible.
Get him some voice training so he can carry a tune and he'll go places.

I've heard of Maroon 5 but can't think of any songs from them. I have no idea who the people you named are.
If it's too loud, you probably need to turn your hearing aid down.
At band practice a couple of weeks ago, we were comparing notes and being confused and a little concerned that none of us wanted to wear ear plugs. Not because we didn't want to miss any nuances (ha! we don't have nuances), but because our three piece in a concrete walled basement where you can't be more than eight feet from the drums wasn't uncomfortably loud to us...
Strangely, when I go to the store, people don't recoil as though I'm shouting over my own deafness, so I'm not sure what's up...
i watched about 2 minutes of it.. i don't care for Maroon 5 at all, but the singer dude seems like a cool guy that has a pretty good perspective about who he is and what crowd he caters to- i just have a feeling that when he gets home and no one's watching, he throws some SLAYER on the stereo to cut loose... the skit i saw was him and a bunch of other "soft rock" singers getting into a "brawl" in a diner or something and the 911 operator put Hootie on hold when he called in to report it because he didn't know where the Blowfish were...

I never heard of him either! Oh, and mine is the third rock on the left.

I will point out that this is not surprising coming from someone with the screen name "Maroon92."

Nope. Never heard of him either. Saturday Night Live? Is that show still on? And I'm almost always in bed by ten,
I have no idea who Adam Levine is either. If he does that rap junk then I don't want to know.
So get off MY lawn too.

He doesn't "do that rap junk", he sings for Maroon 5 and bangs a lot of hot chicks.

Don't worry, you had to endure E36 M3ty music on the radio, too. There has always been crappy music, just look at the Rolling Stones or Dave Matthews Band. There is plenty of "message" in today's music, it just isn't about Vietnam or racial incensitivity.
I'm never surprised when I don't know the musical guest. I lerve the hip hop, and therefore am generally disgusted by modern rap music.
The host threw me for a loop, but yeah, I'm familiar with that one song. How "Effeminate little weirdo singer of marginally mediocre pop band who sang 'that one song'" qualifies one to host SNL is a mystery to me, but whatever.

Certainly sounds like he's got you all soupy. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Wonderful synopsis.
He's a choad.

Wow, I have not heard that word used in about 10 years. Maybe I am too old...

Nope. He gets my girl all soupy... Know your enemy, right?
For serious, though, they've sold about 10 million albums in a day and age when music is easier to steal than pay for... He's also one of the "hosts" or something for some music show on one of the "big three" networks. Never watched it, couldn't care less.
I only know who he is because I am a follower of popular culture. I want to know when the end is nigh...

Just because a lot of people like it, doesn't mean they all don't have crappy taste.
Quit acting like you don't have his poster in your garage by blaming it on "your girl."

So he sings for a band named Maroon 5? Your screen name says it's your nethers that he makes soupy. Betcha we'd find a notebook full of "Maroon92 Levine" signatures all over it under your pillow.
