I've spent the entire day in my pyjamas, the only thing prompting me to get dressed is that I have an overwhelming desire for ice cream. Caramel chocolate with ribbons of crunchy dark chocolate running throughout. Eating that will probably be the only constructive thing I've accomplished all day.
Just got back from picking up Haagen Daz bananas foster ice cream. Was busy today, no car work got done though
Sick all day. The only thing I accomplished was watching the F1 and Rolex races. That and sleep. I hate a cold. Especially since I was supposed to be helping Curmudgeon on the Lemons car.
Mmm... Lesley in PJ's eating ice cream.... mmm.
Toyman, we got a lot done. Don't worry, we saved some for you. You can start atoning for your sins by building a new larger Cool Shirt cooler.
I had no energy all weekend. Time zone changes, 3 am wakeup calls, connecting flights and a week of 10 hour days spent in a car... checking my email and eating is about as ambitious as it gets.
Doesn't help that Easter is coming up and the stores have put up their candy displays. I now have a tub of ice cream AND a bag of Reeses to take care of.

What can I say, I'm a Brit.
"The word "pyjama" or "pajama", which originally derives from the Persian word پايجامه (Peyjama meaning "foot garment"), was incorporated into the English language during British Raj through the Hindustani (the progenitor language of modern-day Urdu and Hindi)." (wiki)
Derives from the word " پايجامه "?
I worked 12 hours today in the ER, my third day in a row. Now I'm drinking a Kentucky Bourbon Stout in my scrubs and looking forward to some of this "lazy" you describe.

Ummm-so you were saying you hung around the house all day in nothing but "foot garments"?
Foot garment? Are your jammies footy pajamas?
Or, as the be-Jensen'ed one got me to thinking...maybe there is hardly enough cloth to cover even the most delicate of areas.
What is another name for this type of minimalist shoe?
I got up at 6:30 (it's my only day off and I'm 19, so that's significant) and drove four hours each way to go swap my hood + $75 for a straight one. Then went out to eat with a couple friends.

They were thongs until the word got hijacked. Just like Fred and Barney had a gay old time down at the Water Buffalo lodge with the boys...
I just came off of a 20 and a 16 hour day... and then got up at 4am for a 4 hour shift.. otherwise, I would not have gotten dressed today either

I never knew Fred and Barney were Gay. What about Wilma and Betty were they gay too? Even in cartoons that'd been hot!

It wasn't hijacked it was repurposed to a better cause.

Never never never forget your shower shoes. Those are one of the first things to go into the duffle bag.
My kids don't let lazy happen. I get up at 5:30 to prepare for their arrival, work all day, play with them and feed them until bedtime at eight and then clean up the aftermath until around eleven. My wife is in grad school and teaching. I would love some lazy.
Haha. How true. In order to remember the last time I "slept in" I simply have to subtract my elder son's age from today's date and voila! Nearly 8 years. Sigh.
