I still miss the Whalers. When I play Wayne Gretzky's 3D hockey, I play with Whalers.

I kind of hope Boston wins the Cup again, because the fans from that city are already well on their way to surpassing Yankees fans as the most hated, obnoxious, wicked annoying people in the country.

It takes the heat off of me when I wear my Yankees hat.

I would wear it to a Winnipeg game but I'm in VT. A bit far. Maybe if the Jets come to play Les Habitant or the Bruins.

No way the Bruins are getting The Cup again this year. Sorry!

Callahan fits really well with Tortorella's total commitment work ethic. Anyone who's had bones broken blocking shots and is still relentlessly enthusiastic deserves the "C".

It goes without saying that I'm really glad that knucklehead Sather didn't mess with the team chemistry at the trade deadline.

A single flag is a storm warning, a hurricane is two.

Sorry, not being a hockey fan, this is the only thing I could contribute..

EDIT: DOH! You actually said that in your post. You are now entitled to call me an idiot, or illiterate, your choice.

And let's not forget he chose Redden over Chara.

San Jose, the team that all the hockey the experts have finally given up on. Every year for about 10 years they were going to be the team that won it all. With Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau? Don't think so.

Anyway, I think the Bruins are on cruise control right now and have been all season. Wait till the games get rough, and the checking gets tight. I'm not a fan, but I don't know if anybody can beat them over the long haul.

I can't wait for the playoffs to start. There are a lot of reasons why it's the best tournament in the world.

Yup beginning to feel like a cubs fan. But hopefully we will get a chance to wipe the dead wings out of contention! They seem to be the only team we can RELIABLY beat post season.

OP might be singing a different tune today, staring at an Ottawa Senators match-up. Seems to be their 2011-12 Kryptonite. If anyone doesn't think that matters, look at the Flyers first round match-up in 2010. Devils just couldn't beat the Flyers, regardless of how well their season went.

Also, they originally did have a two flag logo for the Hurricanes, but from a design perspective, the NHL/team/designers went with one flag.

Whole new season now. Sad that the Rangers made that young goalie in Washington look so good yesterday. Over full series don't think the Caps can take the Rangers. Devils will take out Florida. Bruins by the Sens. Pennsylvania rumored to explode soon!<<<<< Series to watch!

I expect the Pens to destroy Philly. That series should be contended in an MMA cage.

Where's Vince McMahon when you really need him?

So who's gonna win? Thugs Vs. Cindy and Gino? Don't care as long as it goes 7 games with a few double over-times thrown in.

I am pumped for the series, and I think as long as Marc Andre Fluery doesn't stand on his head, he has been playing sub par lately, than the Flyers can easily take the series.

I have no idea if they can repeat, but I must tell you that last Spring was something magical for this lifelong Bruins fan!!! I was born in 74 so never had a chance to see them win it before. I remember almost crying when they lost in 88 and 90. I also remember crying when the won it last season.

The NHL playoff's are the most grueling of all the sports in my opinion. Seems like a completely different game once the dance starts, and the every other night thing is very grueling. Football is probably tougher on the body during any one game, but they only play once a week the hockey player will play 3 games in that time, and a lot of them go to overtime. Add in the fact that there isn't any out of bounds, or running out the clock and you have a recipe for excellent entertainment. Football is a love of mine, but nothing compares to hockey. A football game take s three hours to play maybe 20 minutes worth of action. Seems pretty lame when you think about it that way.

Anyway, Let's Go Bruins!!!!!!

America's original NHL team!!!

Only problem is the Caps are playing the Broons not the Sens. I wwish it were teh Sens though as teh Bruins have owned them forever especially this season. Thomas loves playing in Scotia Bank Place. Says it is his favorite arena to play in lighting wise. Hates MSG by the way, as do many other tenders in the league.
