They're mostly for fleets. I wouldn't be surprised if there was no spare.

My suggestion: go find an example of the van he already has and apparently loves, but with less miles on it.

Option #2: realize what he has is what he wants; spend a fraction of the money he'd pay to buy a new van and "freshen up" the current ride.
