So, I've been pimping my dog out to a local breeder and in exchange, we get pick-of-the-litter.

We went to see the new puppies tonight and this one will be coming home in a month.

His name is Ruxton:

They are awesome dogs. Buddy of mine had one. It was amazing.

Too adorably cuddly for words. How big do Bernese dogs get? Hadn't heard of that breed before.

Breed standard is 90 to 120 lbs but most in North America are getting bigger than that.

Our stud, Gus (his full name is August Duesenberg) is 95 lbs but built very sturdy, his father and mother were both over 120.

They're classed as giant breed dogs and are from the same family as Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands.

They're originally from Switzerland (Bernese Mountain Dog)and were bred as draft dogs.

Gus has a cart and a pulling harness and loves to pull. He can haul me around in his cart.

They have an incredible personality and are great with kids.

There are still eight pups left from the litter if anyone is interested.
