It was well known the fan noise was pumped through the PA in the RCA dome, pretty sure that's why they banned the practice.

So to sum up Superbore 50, there was no offense, no halftime show and I'm not sure if there were any commercials of note. That game had to be boring even if you were a Broncos fan.

I was secretly hoping the 85 Bears would step out of a time machine during the halftime show and stomp the E36 M3 out of both teams.

I did LOL at that one. Most of the second quarter I fast forwarded through because DVR, so I just didn't watch those. I saw one where Audi says we should let senile old men drive supercars because they as a company think it is 1968 or something.

puppy monkey baby was strange. I'm filing that one in more of the interesting and semi-amusing, but hope that it only comes on that once time.

Best part of the entire thing was pre-game when they were introducing the MVPs from previous Super Bowls and the crowd booed Brady the entire time. And he's a Bay Area native too.

Did I see a couple Broncos, on the sidelines, mock dab, late in the fourth quarter?

Hopefully Newton gains a bit of humility out of getting thoroughly beat-down by the Denver defense. His post-game news conference was pathetic.... he acted like a petulant 13 year old, pouting because he didn't get a "participant" trophy. He's a talented athlete, but he still has a lot to learn, and a lot of growing up to do.

I saw a Bronco dab and do the superman shirt pull thing on the field after a sack. That was funny. Taste of their own medicine. Turns out being a poor sport while winning is not Cam's only trait, as he is also not much of a gracious loser. I was rooting for the Panthers just because NFC and I've never been a Peyton fan.

Game: Boooooring! Great defense, I get it, but the corpse of Peyton Manning was so ineffective he was hard to watch. He's a shadow of what he once was. Still, he got that second ring, so good for him. That defense is something, though. I think it belongs high in the second tier all time, alongside the 2000 Ravens.

Commercials: Doritos ultrasound was by far the funniest. I didn't mind the Audi one, so what if he's a doddering old man, he's a berkeleying astronaut. He can handle the damn car. PuppyMonkeyBaby was extremely strange, but we are still talking about it, aren't we? Then they did their job. Kevin Hart tracking his daughter's date wsa pretty funny, as well, I think that was Hyundai? Overall, a very "meh" year for commercials, though.

If you were a Broncos fan, that was a good game to watch. And nerve-wracking until that last touchdown. I was waiting for the Panthers to break free, and they did for a couple of long plays. They just couldn't do it more than once per drive. Having the Broncos come out passing put the Panthers on the back foot, and watching that defense break Cam Newton was spectacular. I think the entire defensive line should have won that MVP trophy. Newton didn't handle it well, though, he was rattled first by being in the big game and then by getting plowed over and over again. He needed to step up and respond, but didn't.

It is funny how all the news reports talk about Manning fumbling the ball while Newton had it stripped from his hands by Von Miller the second time - from where I sat, it looked like the exact same play with different uniforms. I guess you use the words you need to use in order to make your point.

Yes, I know. I was watching it. And if you read the news reports, the Manning one is characterized as a "fumble" while the second Newton one was "Von Miller strips the ball". But the plays themselves looked awfully similar.

First game with no offense. Both Broncos TD's were due to the defense. On the second one the offense really struggled to get the ball across. I was sort of in favor of the Broncos because I wanted the Panthers and their cocky QB get their hat handed to them.

That game featured two of my three least favorite quarterbacks
(Cheater Brady didn't make it, soooooo sad)
ended up cheering for Peyton because his awful face and boring 'style' are less offensive than Cam being a E36 M3ty person
