Was going to suggest this. Buy strong and invest long.
Yeah, you know, the *real* reason to own stock. (Sssshhhh! Don't tell Osterkraut! )
Don't take stock advice from a man who once said stocks aren't real things, or some nonsense like that. The archive is gone so I can't find that little nugget of wisdom, unfortunately.

Nice attempt at a mis-quote shiney happy person.

Cinder block construction and concrete floor. If the AC craps out, tenant pays. If the parking lot needs to be repaved, tenant pays.

Misquote or no, the statement you attempted to pass off as fact was just as ridiculous!

Diageo plc has returned damn near 30% for me, and gives a pretty solid dividend!

wow, when i said "drink" i was just thinking coca-cola. booze ftw! i wonder why their one-year target is $104, since they're currently trading at $118?

Real estate? Agriculture?

Farmland is often leased. Who owns the land? Seems logical (who knows about practical) to have an investment company revolving around the purchase of farmland, because economies of scale dictates that large swaths of land are needed for efficient open-field production.
