Just back from a trip to Montana.
I think this little scene in Roberts is maybe just one backhoe short of a "Full Montana"-- or maybe I'm getting confused with Wyoming.

TIL that bees need a runway.
My morning coffee cup had a sugary brine in the bottom. This afternoon, I found a bee in it, trying to fly out but he/she/it couldn't get more than halfway up without bumping into the side and falling back in. Poor little duder. So I picked up the cup and held it horizontal so it could fly out.
Bee stuck around for a while after that.
We're staying at a great hotel in CT called Avon Old Farms Hotel. The bar here is fun. The bartender Jeff is superb. We've known him for years. He has great ink. This is the best I've ever seen:
And it's based on Frank Sinatra's mug shot from the late thirties:
More tomato fun:
We bought this gem today to make a couple tomato-on-rye sandwiches. After we brought it home I realized it had a unique sculptural quality. Even the dimple at the top, if you're following. I think it's some kind of yoga pose. But anyway, the sandwiches were excellent, and this tomato no longer exists.
Granted, my expectations are tempered when shopping at a place like Biglots, but even I was not prepared for this level of sophistication.
Saw a gorgeous sunset somewhere in Nevada on my way home from NASA Champs Utah on Sunday. Managed a one-handed photo out the window of the truck with my phone:
