You know it's bad when the shop owner said not to drink it and gives it to you for free.
Volvo angle gears love to fret the splines connecting them to the trans and strip.
This is common to anything with a dry splined connection. Here's a 2017 Equinox that had a clicking/ratcheting noise in the rear when turning or accelerating hard.
Sasha, our foster, loves being outside. She is such a sweet girl. It makes me sad that no one wants to adopt her. We are her 6th(!) foster home

Not everyone has the resources you have, Gar-Bear. Most of us are just getting by. Let the poors have their fun!
Random picture for the thread.

For your info, the rat-rod truck on the right was by no means a cheap build. And you should have heard the engine and seen the suspension and running gear in the MoPar! Again, by no means a cheap build. They were promoting the patina, which is OK. I like patina. But I disagree with builders who spend excess $$$ to create patina. Rattle can primer would have worked better. So this has nothing to do with my own personal resources ... which you know nothing about. And who is Gar-Bear? Is that an insult to me? Lighten up. This forum is supposed to be fun.
Which thread had the photo of the crusty second gen Camaro? I wanted to quote it, to show that it has a home, if it needs one.
Photo from this very afternoon.
Too lazy to find the sandwich thread. Here is a version of the best sandwich in the world, the Northshore Beef.

Then we have misunderstood each other. I took your comment and grimace as disparaging your socioeconomic lessers. "Gar-Bear" was a convenient rhyme, a gentle tease meant to make clear that I was giving you a good-natured poke in the ribs and not to be taken too seriously.
Your suggestion to lighten up is a good one.
Random picture, circa 2022 - and I'm not sure why I still have this, but I'm not deleting it now - of quite possibly the best damn Detroit-style pizza we ever did make:
