It's like that part of the Omaha Beach scene in Saving Private Ryan when Captain Hiller discovers that the radio man got shot.
Goodnight, 2135XQPA. I barely knew ye.
Now to see if the nose from my dead TiMAX fits.

I'm planning on doing some louvers soon. What did you use for everything?
And listening to Scott Hamilton on Amazon Music whilst (while) sipping some good Cabernet. Actually, I feel very fortunate for where I am right now. And I don't have to go to work in the morning.

You can just barely make out the second rainbow in the top left.
A real good rainbow happens when the sun is very low in the sky and the rain has passed by, so it can shine under the clouds. It only lasted about five minutes before the sun went down but I was able to witness a quadruple rainbow. The sun has to be VERY low for that to be visible, because of the geometry involved.

1" tube frame, sheet metal bent around the edges and a louver punch. Lay out the start-finish of each louver and move left & right; move to the next. The other side has raised ribs for stiffness, made with a bead roller. In the pic, I left the center flat so I could add an older type punched Dodge logo (but didn't). The thing was latched using tow 1963 style lap belt buckles.

A friend commented that in Hawaii that was practically a daily occurrence. Where I live, seeing a nice rainbow in it's entirety is more like a once-every 5 years event.
Moving some junk around Saturday morning and snapped this.
Some day I'll have my replacement hatch painted to match and install it.
