Recent Hotwheels scores

After almost two years the set is complete, production issues tied the drag bus up for over a year from ordering.

Now they have announced there will be a 69 camaro and an as yet not named car added to the series in 2015... Adult collectibles are grand.

Hi all, first timer to the Hot Wheels scene here. I was getting some dinner stuff at Krogers a few minutes ago and as I was walking out the HW display caught my eye. I had lots as a kids myself but at 43 those are long, long, long gone.

And I've bought a few for my son over the years, which I proceeded to kick, trip over, and curse. So this is my first time buying as an adult for my own amusement.

I'm sure there are proponents each side of the aisle about whether or not to remove them from their packaging. And I assume there are "valuable" of "collectible" cars. I'm sure I'll regret this later but I believe that I want to be in the "open and enjoy" camp. Also the cars I got were interesting to me but who knows what is popular.

HW is a little odd in what goes where and why some have years listed while others don't. I assume I'll learn as I go.

Looks like you have good taste, stay away from trying to make it an investment and get what you like!

The local Walmart tends to put the new cases directly into the dump bins. This time they put the new cases into the dump bins and then set the bins in the checkout aisle, so it would be impossible to look through them. Genius!

I found the darker red/wine colored 510 wagon at work today...

Found these loose at Saver's for $2.00. What me worry?

Anything special about any of them? I mainly picked it up for the Stratos. Never knew HW had a casting.

They are all from mystery packages, the black ones not the bags. 07/08 I think. This may not be 1000% accurate since they also reused them in 9 packs and play sets but since they are together I'd say they were mystery cars.

Btw: the stratos is an easily collectible casting. There are only twelve versions and none are worth more than about 7 bucks.

Its a really neat casting. I hope they release is in Allitalia red, green, and white. We can dream, can't we?

mndsm, what kind of Tom Cruise voodoo magic did you put on me? Every place I've looked since I sent your package there's been at least 3-4 red Rx7s. They're haunting me now.

Im going to say this right now. I have an active BOLO out for the $hunt hachi in the c-cases. Open to ridiculous trades and semi-ridiculous payment prices.

Also- Someone was asking about the Alle Italia colorway on the stratos casting? I was almost sure I'd seen it somewhere before...... No logos, but its a real hotwheels..... also found this-

My kids OT has ALL the good hotwheels it seems. She's the same one I got that Miata from.

I forget who was asking, or if anyone WAS asking, but It turns out I have 3 of the Zamac hakosukas from this year. I forgot I had these. Too many skylines...... This is one of my favorite castings. I'd PROBABLY be willing to trade if you had something amusing however.

Also- I actually did the trade with my kids OT today- now I have TWO Miatas! The other thing I'm guilty of is hoarding Mazda castings (I have more FBs than anyone has a right to) and that green number turns out to be fairly rare. Was an old McDonalds Happy meal prize IIRC. I bought it off of Javelin a few years ago and I've been hiding it from my child ever since... but I had to dig it out to go with the new one :D
