Looking for rolling mechanics stool for vehicle detailing, brake work etc. Time to retire the milk crate I've had since I was 16, 63 now. I need wheels.
I like this one: https://www.autozone.com/creepers-and-carts/creeper-and-roller-seat/p/duralast-heavy-duty-creeper-seat/566481_0_0
Cushion seat, roller drawers and bottle caddy. Should hold compound bottles and other chemicals, MF towels, tools. Around $105 at AZ.
Not interested in telescoping height w/o utility or cheap E36 M3 that will break. Not crazy about HF stuff.
What ya got?
I like the Mychanic ones but they are overpriced.
Whichever one you cut the E36 M3 casters off of, reinforce the base of and install real casters on. I did that to mine and it works 3 times better than it did when it was new.
I have this one. It's made in USA and sturdy as hell. Has served me well for years and I weigh 240 pounds.

I have had this craftsman unit for about 10 years now. It added to another ac delco one that is similar but has far inferior castors that I only ever used the craftsman unit. It's dead simple and the only assembly out of the box is to put the seat on the post. I mean literally place the seat onto the post, the rest of it is already assembled. Of course if your want more storage than the flat pan this is not the droid you are looking for.

I thought the rolling stool with the 3 drawer box on it was a genius idea and when Matco had a special on them I snapped one up.
It was total crap, the casters fell off several times and the Matco guy stopped warrantying it. The drawers which seemed like such a great idea turned out to be where I placed things to ensure I would lose them. Every time I went to use it I would discover that missing wrench/screwdriver/misplaced fastener I searched for hours for last week.
I think I cut the base and seat off of it and gave it to a friend as a makeup organizer.
I use a cheap HF rolling stool. The round one with the pneumatic height control. I also prefer a stool that doesn't glide across the floor to easily. A little rolling resistance makes it less likely to slide out from underneath when sitting down.
I have the HF one, but the wheels are getting meh. I need to see if I can replace them with rollerblade casters.
