I cant believe that people still fall for them.
You must be a trillionaire at this point. Or more.
I think google is intercepting some of my emails and taking all the monies that rightfully belong to ME.
The bastards.
Just the other day I got an email (went to look if I still had it, but didn't) about a car I am selling and it was an email I've gotten in the past from different addresses. Talked about wanting my car and even paying more for it if necessary, then some crap about proxy and him arranging shipping, etc..
Didn't sound in the least bit legit. Are people really stupid enough to fall for this crap? Don't answer.
I've got that email too, about a welder I had listed on craigslist.
I've still got the welder, if that answers the question.

We are looking for a nicer place to rent than our present abode. Jane found one of those "Too good to be true" listings on CL. 900.00 / mo on a waterfront palace. Sent an inquiry., the house is a 1.3MM estate, we would have to send rent plus deposit to the Doctor that had to go to Nigeria suddenly, and he will then send the keys. Yeah, sure. Jane contacted the Doctor that actually owns the place. He was a bit surprised. Same ad is running all over the US.
I had one that said, "open this to get your inheritence"
Of course, I jumped all over it.

You've solved the mystery of why google owns everything. Turns out the Nigerians WERE rich.

then why do they still live in Nigeria?"
I must have about 20 rich Nigerian uncles by now. According to their lawyers' emails, I could be a billionaire if just forwarded some transfer fees. My first clue was that I'm PASTY berkeleyING WHITE.
And I love those CL emails; "do you still have item for sale? I can send bank funds as I am overseas...."
