LOL. If my team (UM) is the first team out, we earned that elimination spot with the rotten season we've had.
Other than that, MSU is out for sure- next up will be Northern OR Ferris State.

Ya'll can BITE it.....our Orangemen are the #1 seed!
In reality, all that really means is they'll go 2 rounds before they get beat. Just don't have the horsepower to be national champs again.

Yea, bouncyball...
Very much wrong sport, for me.
I'll root for UAH, for sure. They will probably get Denver at this point, in round 1. Since Denver swept Tech, and Miami is going to a 3rd game today, assuming they win the WCHA and CCHA, Denver will probably be #1, and without a doubt, UAH will be #16.
And if they make it to Detroit, that would be something. We'll be there, of course.
Enjoy the last CHA championship, you've got two weeks to practice.

Well if our goalie, Talbot, plays like he can we can play with a lot of people. Can I hear 39 saves versus Notre Dame at the first game of season? And 45 saves in the CHA final?
Our Oswego State Great Lakers just made it to the Frozen Four(div III) and will be playing@ Lake Placid next weekend. They already won the SUNYAB Championship two weeks ago. This team has a great chance of being National Champions. Good times to be an Upstate New Yorker!

Don't put too much on that Notre Dame weekend... they didn't do all that hot during the season.
Championship weekend coming up for most of the conferences- should be fun to keep an eye on the scoreboard. Since we've had such a bad season, we actually made plans over the Joe games, and it's been a while since we've not gone to the CCHA championship. It makes it easier that we have the early game on Friday- it's harder to get to from work on time- stronger excuse and all.
Friday at the Joe- Michigan v. Miami and Northern Mi vs. Ferris St.

Another UAHer here? My wife is an alumni, my best man was Geof, and if you are involved with the hockey community you know him.
I just wish I didn't live so far away now so I could go to the games again.

You must have ended up with St Norbert.
Norwich is playing Plattsburg.
Should be some good games.
Although it's not my alma mater, I grew up near Miami University (of Ohio, duh-not that other Miami). They almost won it all last year. I hope the Redskins (er, Redhawks) win it all this year.

For those who know, there's only one Miami. The one in florida does not even bother with ice.
It was a heck of a game last year- could not belive they didn't win that. Two goal lead with just over a min left, and they didn't do it.... If not Michigan, I'll root for most CCHA teams.

How about that draw. Both CHA teams get CCHA teams, AND all in the same regional in Fort Wayne.
UAH got Miami since they were the lowest seed, Miami, highest.
BSU was seeded correctly, since 8 goes with 1.
But instead of 9 Yale, they got 11 Michigan. And promptly some of their fans think they are the underdog. Ok....
Bemidji has a great year, gets seeded high, Michigan has a poor year, gets in via a championship, and gets a low seed. Seems to make sense to me. BSU should be the favored team.
Should be a fun weekend- the East Regional has a great potential second round match up between North Dakota and Boston College. NorthEast looks to be Denvers to lose, and West looks to be Wisconsin's to lose.
Can't wait until Detroit!
