Reminds me of a story. I have wealthy relatives, and one has chosen that our annual family gathering involves an open bar somewhere in the cities. Being the good nephew that I am, I made my way down to said even one night, and elected to excercise the open bar. 4 beers in, I am ABSOLUTELY hammered. I can't figure out why. Sure it was 4 beers in like... 2 hours, but i'm ripped? Dafuq? And it wasn't like bourbon stouts or anything, it was macros. Leinenkugels I think. Then I did the math. The 4 beers each represented a litre stein. Meaning by my math, I had consumed 132 oz of beer in 2 hours, or slightly over a gallon. That made a lot more sense to me.

I saw a guy try to drink a gallon of milk in under an hour... twice.

He didn't make it either time. Hilarity did ensue.

The same guy ate a ghost pepper on a dare. I got video of that one.

(On his phone, I wish I could post it.)

I'd do that. I've been told my tolerance for spicy is abnormally high.

I've done the gallon of milk in an hour. Not that hard, or at least it wasn't in high school.

I'd be worried about it burning down the basement door on the way out.

Huh. You're not that big of a guy either, right? This guy is 6'2" 300+. I really thought he could do it... so did he.

I saw a guy attempt a 5 lb bag of peanut M&M's. The challenge was that he had to eat them all during the normal work day. He chose a 2L of Pepsi to help wash them down. He started off strong and it seemed like he would breeze through it, but he hit a wall. Ended up not quite getting them all down. Not sure if the ones he did get down stayed down or not.

I watched a guy attempt the triple chipotle- 3 burritos in 30min... he got 2.5. Volume I can't do, spice, I haven't been defeated yet.

You get used to it after a while. Hardest part is I've developed some stomach issues from some of my meds for migraines and man the heartburn....

5'10", 200. At the time I did the gallon of milk, I was about 5'10", 170. I did this after a day of caddying--36 holes, double bagging. I came home after having had nothing but water and a small hot dog all day, and poured a glass of milk, then another, then another, and in about 5 minutes had done almost a half gallon without realizing it. I thought, hey, lets see if I can do the whole thing! I ate a piece of bread, then slowly drank the last half gallon over the next 50 minutes. But that was a different time in my life--see below.

I used to regularly have 2 chipotle burritos for a meal after hockey practice in high school, regularly. I was 170 pounds and couldn't put on weight at all. Metabolism of a hummingbird. I'd feel fine after too. I can still eat 2, but I don't feel fine anymore.

I also like spicy, but it has to be tasty too. I'm not into spicy for spicy, but can take a lot of heat.

Yeah, the spicy/taste thing is my conundrum as well. On one side, I push things to the extreme. On the other side, you pass a certain point, and spice is just plain bitter and E36 M3ty tasting. Take BWW blazin', for example. AWESOME on the spice content, tastes like an IPA with a hop cone in it.

The key on the gallon of milk is to do it with the blinding spice. I can do most natural spice, some places now add retsin to their spicy sauces so it stays on your palette long after you've swallowed. Berkeley that

I thought a tallboy was 24oz? 16oz is a pint or a pounder.

Just reading the previous posts reminds me why I don't drink no more. Y'all have one for me.

No sleep and back to the day job I go. Off at lunch to meet a hot rod shop customer, and then onward to another twelve hour day.
