There are people half my age in wicked worse shape. 50 is the new 30. I have no words of wisdom.
Leering is an old guy privilige.
I was talking to the kiddo about skydiving recently, I think I have her talked into it.
Mexican food keeps me regular.

Reminds me when I "found" the bald spot on my head--and checked again, and again, "is that really my head..."
Oh, gawd: baldness. One of my old dirt biking buddies was also my boss, my perch looked directly into his office. I saw someone leaned back, hands behind his head, big bald spot. I thought to myself 'poor slob'... then realized it was Eddie.
I don't care if mine turns gray as long as it don't turn loose.
50's arent too bad. The alternative is not attractive and for the most part, I can do all the things that I want to do(it just takes longer to recover). I would encourage everyone to take good care of themselves. The hardest part I find about aging so far is being able to remember it.

Farts come with old age.

Like hell. We old girls reserve the right to leer too!
I'm 47, so I have a few years before 50....but some days I feel it. I started working out again too, and so has my wife. So far it has been tough, but the results have been worth it. Small things are so much easier when you are in better shape, and I've decided that working out is even more important as you get older! Your energy level also increases drastically.
Of course I picked up a box with a couple of laptops in it on Friday, and have been laid up all weekend with a back problem...I never remember that in my 20's!
Well, today's the day. I'm no longer 2_, 3_, or 4_. I've carefully read and considered all the advice you kind people have provided, and come to the conclusion you are all full of crap!
Seriously, thanks for all the comments. I'm feeling good today, and that's really all that matters.
Congrats.
I turned 50 a few weeks ago. I was planning to do something different (drive a dream track, take a vacation, go on a cruise) until I looked at my bank account. So I signed up to instruct at an HPDE on VIR's grand course. I had always wanted to drive the grand course so I figured what better time.
