Most of them look to be 1/18 scale. I think most of them are models you can just buy right off the shelf. That early model Corvair is a Sun Star model.
He definitely has added his own touches to some of them.
EDIT: I was just looking at his photostream and it looks like he uses different model sizes.

Just amazing work overall. Great that he now has an outlet to share it.
