I have a 32" Vizio VZ32LHDTV10A TV that worked fine before it was taken down from it's OEM wall mount, sat in storage for two months then installed on the OE pedestal mount. I now can not get the unit to read the "tuner" signal. Granted we went from cable TV to over the air HDTV, and even though we are using a HDTV box for the remote (lost the original Vizio unit) I can't get it to see an sinal through that input. It seems fine on the HDMI and Input 1 sources.
Does anyone know if there is a reason for these to lose an input source?
Did you select off air instead of cable when you did the channel search again? And some TV's have different inputs for catv and off air antenna.
I think I may have your model TV. When you go to the TV input, there's a setting in the menu called Tuner Mode - in my setup, where I have the antenna running straight to the TV, I have it set to "Antenna". I was at first going to say that you should have it set to that, but it sounds like you're not using the TV's internal tuner, so now I'm not so sure.
Try hooking the antenna up directly to the TV, and setting that Tuner Mode to "Antenna" and see if you get signal. Also - have you ever been able to get HDTV signal at all in that location? I'm wondering if your issue has something to do with the insufficient signal strength from the over-the-air TV source. This site helped me figure out why I could pick up every station except NBC in my area: http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx
