Well, I've made it about 24 hours. This morning wasn't so bad, but I have been feeling quite depressed and down. Hoping today flys by as I have tomorrow off and would like to sleep in

Good news! Sleeping is also another successful way to not smoke

Was thinking the same thing. It's not cheap if you need to buy a bunch of new lego blocks though. Used is much more affordable.

I spent my time gaming, arting, and building rc. The hardest part is keeping busy. The physical addiction is easy. It's the mental that's a E36 M3show

5 things.

Seriously, 5 note cards, each with a reason for quitting. Put them in your pocket, and every time you think 'vape/cigarette/nicotine', pull out the note cards and shuffle through them one by one.

You're in the process of breaking a chemical addiction. Your brain has been wired to rely on nicotine for an extended period of time. It's all about rewiring those connections to associate positive thoughts.

Also, be prepared for the headaches. They might not come today, but they will come. Keep advil handy.

Good luck. You can do it.

I thought one of the advantages of vaping was how you can slowly reduce the nicotine levels to ween your body off the addiction? Then if becomes a matter of weening off the habitual part.

One of my friends smoked for over 30 years and switched to vaping a few years ago. Like you, got heavily into the "hobby" aspect of building vapors and various flavors. However, he quickly started reducing the nicotine levels to the point where after a year they are zero.

As far as inexpensive hobbies... it's a matter of perspective.

Have you considered building a classic car you found on craigslist? ...Oh you said inexpensive. Don't do that. Congrats on stopping vaping!
