Am I just goofy, or does R&T not put Peter Egan's column online anymore? A year or so, I stopped subscribing to R&T because Egan was the only thing I read in most issues.

Same here - subscribed since 1970, quit about 5-6 years ago for the same reason.
The column is still online, but I could only find it with their search engine
You can find them ~Here~
just bookmarked the site.... maybe I'll let my subscription go... it's up for renewal in Feb, all I really care about is Egan...

I don't plan on renewing my subscription to R & T when it expires early next year. I only read Peter Egan and glance over the rest of the mag. It's just nor revelant to me anymore with the cars they test and write about. "Grassroots" is where it's at!

I haven't read any of them in years except for waiting rooms. If I remember correctly, R & T was the best... But it was still all in this format:
If its a Honduh, its perfect.
If its a BMW, its perfect.
If its a Yota, its perfect and boring.
Everything else is crap.
Just my $0.02
I enjoy Egan's columns very much too and had the chance to meet him about 8 or 9 years ago. I couldn't even drive yet but I was in Grattan, Michigan with my dad for a an open bike day.
At the time I knew who he was but never really read any of his columns. A very, very approachable and down-to-earth guy. I've been a fan ever since then!
I met him once too. I was racing my car at Road America back in the late 80's or early 90's and i noticed this guy with what I figured was his wife and another couple paddocked next to me. I'm not sure how I figured it out that it was him but it was. I stopped and said hello and told him I liked his writing and then left him alone the rest of the weekend. He was driving his FA open wheel car at the time.
A few years ago I picked up a couple of books that R&A put together with nothing but a collection of his columns from the magazine starting from the mid 80's till the late 90's. He even mentioned another race he ran back then that I had worked F&C for. A cold day in late October at BFR.
