My first thought as well. 😂
I've had plenty of food dealership experiences. I just tell them what I can spend money wise (money down and payment) and if they can't do it, I walk and usually they are willing to work to get the deal done.

This is the greatest typo.

FTFY.
I cannot in any way condone what this man has done, but having briefly owned a Subaru, I can understand how he feels.
Not condoning this, but why did he drive through the easiest part of the building to repair? Right through the door they use to bring cars in? Then again, doing that was hardly a smart move, as it ruins his future for a very long time, holding onto a crappy car is better than that.

If you added some music and convinced those guys to dance around a little bit, you could turn that into a Jardiance commercial.

Has anyone EVER had a good dealership experience when buying a new car?
it's a never for me which is quite disappointing. Even with me being much older now, The game seems to much worse than it was a decade ago.
I've never had a bad experience with a dealer ever. Now, I haven't bought many cars from dealers, most were either private party or company cars. A quick count up gets me four new cars, and three late model used cars from new car dealers. I've never had a single issue, padded bill, switcheroo, or any other problem ever.

I can't say that I've ever had a bad dealership experience any time that I've actually left with the car. I have walked out of plenty of places, though.
There was another time when I had a long conversation with a salesman over the phone and I was walking out the door with my checkbook in hand to buy the car that they had on the showroom floor when he called me back to say that they had decided to add a $5,000 "Market Adjustment" to the MSRP.
His courtesy saved me about two hours of travel time, but cost him a sale.

This.
Rick Hendrick Chevy here in Charleston was the worst. I've been there twice. Once to try to buy a conversion van. The second time to show the GM the Ford van I bought instead of dealing with those shiny happy people.
My last two purchases have come from CarMax. The one before that was from Carvana. They are a breeze to deal with.

Nor have I....
I don't know where all the hate comes from towards dealers and I often wonder if it's not just internet keyboard jerks stirring things up.
BUT - in full disclosure - I worked for Porsche+Audi, Jaguar and Lexus dealers in my 30 year career, and I DID see some shenanigans.......those dealerships changed hands fairly quickly tho when things came to light and got their stuff straightened out right now by the factory. I have bought 4 cars from dealerships since I've been out of the car bidness and it's always gone perfectly smoothly.
I also recognize that things might be different over at Nissan or Stellantis stores......you can't save people from their own stupidity. The guy in the video bought a $4K car that was a wholesale piece - not intended for retail - and then found out it had problems. How is that the dealership's fault? They even offered to buy it back......
The ones that bother me the most are the guys who threaten the dealer and sales people because there's a fault with the car - they didn't build the damn thing - and they'll fix it if given the chance before you lawyer up or start driving it into the showroom.
I've bought 9 vehicles from dealerships, 4 new and 5 used (one certified.) Of those 9 experiences where I left with a car, I had 4 good experiences (3 new cars 1 used,) 4 bad, all used cars (3 cars that had issues including the certified used, one the dealer tried to play games with the financing after the deal was completed.) One neutral (New car, spent many hours hammering out the deal, but left happy with it.) The best ones all involved finding the make/model/color we wanted a fair distance from home (1-2 hours) and saying "we are interested in this specific car, we are willing to pay $X. Yes or no?" Those times, they said yes over the phone, had the car ready when we got there, and processed the paperwork quickly with no funny business once we checked out the car. The best one never involved a sales person. They just threw us the keys and said take your time, and had the paperwork ready at the agreed terms when we got back. So that's just under 1/2 good on the cars I purchased.
I've had all kinds of bad experiences on cars I went to buy but walked away from. Everything from rude salespeople on the test drive to adding "market adjustments" or dealer add on's on top of the agreed upon price. I think the worst was when we bought a new truck and the dealer couldn't produce it. We wanted a specific truck for a specific price. A local dealer didn't have it on the lot, but claimed to have one that they could transfer. Saw the window sticker, did the deal. And waited. And waited. Then it arrived. But we weren't allowed to see it, and they kept stalling. We got a bad feeling and cancelled the deal. The fact that they were willing to let us walk Vs. just showing us the truck tells me that was the right decision.

No. That hatred was there long before the internet.
I have an aunt whose absolute favorite car was her Renault Encore. It was dead nuts reliable and she drove it everywhere. After ten years, someone who didn't know how to stop totalled it. She replaced it with a series of Metros (Geo and Chevy) and eventually a Fit, which is nowhere near as good a car as that Encore was, a fact I hear regularly.
She mentioned this to someone who used to be a car salesman, and he pointed out that he used to get death threats from people who had bought Encores.

Plenty of good experiences and I've said so many times on here when this question is asked.
I also add in I think a lot of people have COMPLETELY unrealistic expectations. Like you should be greeted with a red carpet and bottle of Dom Perignon, they should act like you're the only customer ever, etc.
Probably the best was when I special ordered an Oxford White, base 2013 Mustang GT with the Track Pack. I called the dealer that was the best location between my work and home. The sales guy I talked to I said, "Call me back with a price so good, so I won't bother talking to other dealers and I'll be there 15 minutes later with a $1000 deposit check." It was such a good deal I traded it in 7 months later for what I paid for it.
