Depends if I get any decent contracts this fall. Got a decent offer, but would have to drag a pop up camper to Tonopah AZ, with my car, to live in. In AZ!
Got an offer to stay in S. E. within a few hundred miles from home. Bout the same $$$ for the 3 months, but more hours, harder work, and less acknowledgement 
And that's IF the recruiter is telling the truth!
This would be great on the small block in Jean Clyde Damn Van but the heads are the older variety so I'd have to source a lower intake. And I just bought new tires for that thing. Hmmm

I have a set of iron heads that will work. Probably just TBI truck heads, so not very exciting.

I do have a complete, but disassembled roller cam 350. I suspect its a TBI truck motor that someone added the roller cam to. It has dished pistons. It has a rod knock and no oil pressure. One piston doesn't match the others. You could use it as a buildable core.
Now you do have my attention! I, too have an Astro that would enjoy a new heart. But V Dub C is much farther along, and I have to wait for some income to start, before I can commit to anything

I've got a 350 in my boat and am looking to go injected. The motor is a 4 center bolt valve cover but pre vortec. Will this work?

Probably. You'll need a fuel pump that provides 45 psi.
