Lots of "if"s. Hopefully I figure it out, its very stable and controllable. I'm definitely more consistent than I was with the 906 at Bridgehampton.
I'm not very good at tuning in AC though other than basic alignment and tire pressure. Really the only thing that immediately jumped out with the Pantera was its hard to trailbrake into that turn before "the hairpin", but I need to practice approaching that differently.
To many that have raced there "The Hairpin" is known as "The Light Bulb"
I am relegating myself to mid-pack at best. My newly acquired HC is brutal! Especially now that those that started this series at the back of the field are now putting serious pressure on the front runners. The HC has worked exceptionally well in pulling the field together performance-wise so I am anticipating some very close racing all through the field next week. I would not be surprised if there is a new overall event winner this week.
OK I've been tinkering with this, there are 38s in this car for sure. I can run consistent mid 39s, but I just can't put together a good lap.
I am getting better at the 911, but I am still not sure I am terribly fast at Bridgehampton. I was doing pretty good at the old Glen track though.
As noted, it's likely the last race will be with 4 HC cars, all with similar points.

So are we all ready for tonight? This I think is going to be a fantastic race. While I know this track really well my HC is going to put me mid-pack. The other people at the top of the points have less of a HC so they should in theory make things very close in this race and in the points.
Kind of excited for tonight. It should be good racing!!!
Also, I have to say that in general everyone has upped their game since we started this and anyone has a good chance of winning tonight.
I am hoping we get a good field. I think I should be pretty fast there, but I don't think I have the intricacies of the track down yet. It will make for a very interesting setup for the final race though. It might get very tight.
We do still need to decide on a final track. I like the classic Glen, but I am also very fast there, so I am not sure I should be the one to pick that.

Yes, I remember you in the GT days, NickF40 right? I always remember the small bore cup. I think you drove the Isuzu, or was it the Celica?z (or where you even in that). Where you the one that was always going sideways? (on purpose that is).

Ya sorry about that pro. You went for the gap and I was already committed to the corner. It was turn in to you and hope we both made it or go way off track. The HC on my car was so great that my brake points were so far back that I can see why you went for it. I was committed to the line and speed and could not slow the car more than I already was and if I did not turn in I was going way off track on corner exit. Not mad at you I was just disappointed that we did not get to race more. I was slower for sure but I was trying to put the car on the line. It was working with sauce until he missed a brake point I think.
The HC is proving to be working perfectly in these cars in this series. The whole thing is coming down the last race. A real nail biter next week to decide things.
Did anyone get a recording of my huge crash in the test session after the races tonight? That should be an epic example of the Tangerine Torpedo in all its glory.

I have not heard from Grea since we raced with him back in GT. I do hope he is doing OK. Last I knew he was taking care of his mom at her house. He started out slow but certainly improved a lot. As I remember he was on a controller and had some nerve issue (too much paint exposure in the old days he said).

Ahhh yes the Grey Wall. He had the super power of making race cars two times as wide as anyone else could. And he was a very good racer.

Hey guys, I need some help with my AC settings.
For some reason, tracks are blown out where everything looks white. The colors just aren't there. I've changed from all the preset color option (default, default-bright, natural, etc), tried turning off PP filters, and installed the shaders patch. For the life of me I cannot get it to change. It also only seems to effect tracks that I've downloaded as the original tracks have decent color. do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Do you have SOL installed? Its mostly for weather / sky, but has huge effect on general visuals and has a good selection of filters.

I have noticed some of the custom tracks have looked very blown out in the past. I suspect that, and what you are seeing is related to the Filter setting. I have been using _SOL_LDR and it seems to be generally good (I have not noticed the blown out effect recently).
