Day 2 of the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed is just as jam-packed with thrills as day 1. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect to see.

The celebration again opens with racers from the late 1800s to the early 1960s–such as the Bugatti Type 35B, Ferrari 166 and Gurney Eagle-Chevrolet FA74–taking to the hill at 8:30 a.m.

This time, though, the batch is followed at 9:20 a.m. by cars from 1970 to 2024. Some examples from this session include the Audi R8C, MG Lola EX257, Subaru WRX 'Airslayer' and the record-holding McMurtry Spéirling.

Shortly after the debut of the Adrian Newey-designed RB17 supercar at 10:00 a.m., Formula 1 cars new and old plus several legendary motorcycles across several disciples will run up the hill starting at 10:05 a.m.

10:55 a.m. will see some more brand-new two- and four-wheeled machines like the BMW R20 Concept, Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, Alpine A290 and BYD Seal take to the hill.

Before the Red Arrows return to the skies over Goodwood for the final time at 11:45 a.m., the classes celebrating Joest Racing, Niki Lauda and Mercedes-Benz return to the hill at 11:35, again joined by drift cars.

The supercars will then run at 12:25 p.m., followed by the MG Celebration Moment at 1:05 p.m.

The first Timed Shootout session–the only chance for drivers to practice their hillclimb runs–starts at 2:45 p.m.

Then, starting at 3:30, the rest of the day’s festivities feature even more action from new cars and motorcycles, drift cars and, of course, several iconic race cars.
