Football legend John Elway purchased this 1992 Dodge Viper RT/10 new in 1991. Since then it’s been mostly sitting at his dealership in Greeley, Colorado. Total mileage: just 7935. Quick Viper story (or two):
When I started at Grassroots Motorsports, we had a Viper as part of a test. I parked the car, got out, and felt the heat from the sidepipe on my leg. I tweaked my leg so hard trying to twist away from the exhaust that I spent a while just there on the side of the road waiting for some feel to come back.
Also, I thought that our test car's tach was broken. A Viper just builds momentum at a crazy rate while the tach barely moves.
