The Amelia names Chip Ganassi as 2022 Honoree

Photography Compliments of Chip Ganassi Racing

Few motorsport icons have had as much success as both a driver and a team owner as Chip Ganassi, with wins at the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 55 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Fitting, then, that Ganassi has been named the honoree for the 2022 Amelia (formerly the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance), March 3-6.

Ganassi is also being honored for his work outside the race track, most notably his charitable work for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. “We are thrilled that Chip Ganassi accepted our invitation. His racing legacy represents Hagerty’s love of driving and passion for the wellness of others,” said Hagerty CEO McKeel Hagerty.
