In October 1955, guests entering France’s Grand Palais to attend the Paris Motor Show would have come face-to-face with a whole new kind of car–one with flowing, avant-garde lines and revolutionary technology.
Developed in secret for several years, the vehicle was more than just a flashy new car, it was a symbol of French ingenuity as the country was still recovering from the Second World War.
That car? The Citroën DS 19.
