The Audrain Collections added another honor to its mantel: the Most Distinguished Closed Car award at the 2024 Greenwich Concours d’Elegance. Audrain won it with a 1927 Minerva AF 32 CV Sports Sedan.
The Belgian automobile has won Best in Class at the 2024 Amelia Concours d’Elegance as well as at the 2000 and 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It is believed that this vehicle was the one on display at the 1926 New York Auto Salon. The Audrain Collections acquired it in 2018.
“The Minerva’s continued success is a true testament to the dedication and passion of our team and Audrain’s commitment to preserving, celebrating and perhaps most important, sharing automotive history,” said Audrain CEO Donald Osborne in a press release.
Just a few weeks ago, the Audrain Collections won Best in Show at the Lugano Concorso d’Eleganza in Switzerland with a 1927 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8AS Roadster.

You can find more vehicles from the Audrain Collections at the Audrain Automobile Museum, of course, in Newport, Rhode Island. The museum, with 7500 square feet of gallery space, produces four exhibits a year, displaying anywhere from 12 to 20 vehicles.
Its current exhibit “JDM & Beyond–The Worldwide Influence of Japanese Automobiles” runs until June 9. “Colors, the Cars of Summer” opens June 15.
