Alpina—long a tuner of BMWs—decided to take the BMW Z8 and soften it a bit to make it more of a grand tourer. This 2003 Alpina Roadster V8 is one such example. Changes included bigger wheels, more supple seats, less horsepower and more torque to name a few. This Z8 has fewer than 6000 miles and can be found on eBay Motors with a buy-it-now price of $288,995.
