Car Catcher: A Chevron B16 with Extensive Racing History

Although Chevron started out by building single-seat formula cars, the car maker soon found success competing in GT racing.

This 1969 Chevron B16 is one such example, having secured a podium finishes in Ireland and the United Kingdom at tracks like Kirkistown Racing Circuit, Mondello Park, Thruxton Circuit and Silverstone Circuit.

Powered by a Ford Cosworth 2.0-liter powerplant backed by a Hewland five-speed transmission, this Chevron has received restoration work from Pete Lovely and Dave Vegher’s Veloce Motors West.

Available through Fantasy Junction for $169,500, this 1969 Chevron B16 is also accompanied by documents and paperwork confirming its history and previous work, as well as spares package that includes a set of wheels and transmission gears.
