Hagerty says that a mint Ferrari Daytona that’s been cut–meaning that it was turned into a convertible after the fact–is still a half-million-dollar car. So where will this one land? Russo and Steele will send this 1971 Ferrari Daytona Spyder across the block in Scottsdale.
This car was originally sold through Chinetti Motors. In 1976, the car was sold back to Luigi Chinetti, who had the open-top conversion done in Italy. More recently, says the house, more than $175,000 has been spent on a mechanical restoration. Find more details here.
