Daaaaaaang. That is well-preserved. It's the automatic, but still, nice car.
Merkur—which is German for Mercury—discontinued sales on U.S. shores 30 years ago, making any-condition XR4Ti a rare sighting. So when we came across this 1989 Merkur XR4Ti with around 60,000 miles on the odometer, we had to do a double take. While its automatic is less than desirable, this Merkur is eligible at shows that celebrate neoclassics such as RADwood. Find the Merkur on offer minus reserve at Bonham's Philadelphia show October 7. And let us know: Is this the nicest one left? If you have a better example, we'd love to see it.
