Touted as Morgan's first supercar, the Aero 8 was a deviation from the norm that saw the car built with an aluminum chassis and frame, opposed to the traditional Morgan style of an aluminum-skinned wood body over a steel chassis.
This 2005 Morgan Aero 8, a Series 2 model, is believed to be one of 60 built during the Series 2 production run.
Powered by a 4.4-liter BMW V8 capable of an estimated 333 horsepower and 331 lb.-ft. of torque, the Aero 8 is reported to reach 60 mph in under 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 mph.
Finished in silver over burgundy, this Morgan has "benefited from a performance tune on the engine management system" and shows only 18,900 miles.
The description also states that the paint has "a few little chips and marks," and there are scratches on the windshield and passenger-side window—all are said to have been photographed for the listing.
Find this 2005 Morgan Aero 8 available at British Sports Cars for $75,000.
