Although the original-style Cooper may have been built well into the ‘90s in various forms, the most iconic of the bunch may just be the original Cooper S, which first hit showroom floors in the early 1960s.
This 1967 Austin Cooper S is an example powered by the 1275cc engine, and is noted as have been worked on by Oregon Mini specialists Jet Motors.
As well, the listing explains that this Mini is one of only 636 examples that were imported into the U.S. with the 1275cc engine, and also is equipped with “genuine BL British Leyland 649 Special Tuning Works Department camshafts.”
