The successor to the 100-6, the Austin-Healey 3000 did away with the former car’s 2.6-liter straight-six in favor of a larger, 3.0-liter unit. Thanks to the bump in displacement, the 3000 was reportedly able to accelerate to 60 mph in around 11 seconds.
This 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 is an earlier Mk I example finished in a two-tone, red-and-white exterior over a black interior.
Said to be “a very nice example that runs and drives excellent,” this Austin-Healey is also reported to have been restored “several years ago.”
Also included in the sale are receipts and a photo album.
