Time capsules can be a fun way to not only relive what life was like "back then," but also to compare how much (or how little) things have changed over time.
This 1982 Volkswagen Scirocco is like that, just in car form.
Said to have 96,500 miles on the odometer, this "very original, rust-free" Scirocco is finished in a silver exterior and a red interior.
The listing states that the car stopped running eight years ago, and then sat in a field where it "slowly became covered in moss."
The seller reports that after acquiring the car, many parts were replaced, including a new fuel pump, new oil and filter, and new rotors and pads for the front brakes.
The listing notes that the dash has been replaced with one with that has a small repaired crack, and the air conditioning has been updated to use R-134a.
