Although many Elans have been prepared for track duty, few were made into race cars from the factory by Lotus.
Such is the case for this 1964 Lotus 26R. Not only is it one of only 97 race-prepared Elans built by the Lotus factory, but it’s also one of only 45 Series 1 versions constructed as well.
Complete with a known history since new, the 26R has multiple podium finishes under its belt as well as a number of spares that include wheels (with mounted Avon tires), a radiator, differential and more.
