Get a Sneak Peek at Stirling Moss’s Brand New Book

Sir Stirling Moss will be revealing his new book, My Racing Life at Amelia Island this weekend. The book covers the years from his childhood to the sudden end of his racing career at Goodwood in 1962.

He raced almost 100 different cars throughout his career and this book, co-written by Simon Taylor, promises a comprehensive look back on how he dwells on his setbacks and greatest achievements.

The book will hit shelves in September, but a couple dozen advance copies will be sent to Amelia Island this weekend for enthusiasts to flip through. It’s the first time it will be displayed to the public anywhere in the world.

Hmmm, I wonder how that would differ from his other book "All But My Life," published in 1963, which covers the years from his childhood to the sudden end to his racing career at Goodwood in 1962. I bought and read the paperback in the sixties and it's still in my bookcase. I assume this latest book is a reissue of the original but with a new title, because I doubt he'd alter anything already written. Maybe he has added how he dwells on his setbacks and greatest achievements now 50+ years later.

That's a good question. I doubt it's a reprint, since this one's co-written by Simon Taylor. Probably similar, though.
