Jaguar C-type re-creation wins first-ever Amelia Island Kickoff

Not even the rain could stop our Classic Motorsports Amelia Island Kickoff presented by Sunoco, our inaugural party that celebrates the start of the Amelia concours weekend.

Picking an overall winner was no easy task for our judges–which included the likes of Wayne Carini, Peter Brock, Bill Warner and more–though managed to narrow the field down to a single Best of Show winner: a 1952 Jaguar C-type re-creation entered by Paul Casarona.

The prizes didn’t stop there, however, as we also handed out awards in over 20 categories:
