One of only three 289 Cobras built as factory works race cars (also known as Sebring-specification cars), this 1963 Shelby also comes with the distinction of having been driven by Ken Miles and Bob Bondurant.

On top of that, the Shelby has a number of podium finishes under its belt, mainly from SCCA and USRRC competition.

Finished in a period-correct 1963 livery–similar to the one it wore with Ken Miles at the wheel–the Cobra is said to have received an “award-winning” restoration in 1997.

Find this 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra available through RM Sotheby’s upcoming Monterey auction. Expected selling price is $3,750,000-$4,250,000.
