The Sunbeam Alpine not fast enough for you? Thankfully, Carroll Shelby had a solution: cram a Ford V8 into it.

The result? The Sunbeam Tiger.

This 1965 Mk. 1 Sunbeam Tiger, said to be one of the few produced in black, comes with a number of period-correct modifications from the LAT catalog like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, “competition” exhaust headers and a PosiTraction limited-slip differential.

Also deviated from stock is a Ford 302 in place of the factory 260.

The seller notes the car has been in California since new, with the current owner caring for the car for over 25 years.
