As a car company, how do you go about replacing your entry-level model? Well, if you are Porsche in the mid-to-late '60s, you work with Volkswagen to produce a new car, but then don't let them sell it.

The car developed out of that joint venture? We know it today as the four-cylinder 914 and six-cylinder 914/6.

At any rate, this 1970 Porsche 914/6 is one of less than 3400 examples ever produced, and comes finished in its original shade of Canary Yellow.

Powered by a recently rebuilt flat-six powerplant by Michigan-based RM Motorsports, the engine now features 911 E camshafts, stronger pistons and rebuilt Weber carbs.

The 914/6 currently shows 114,000 miles with a Targa top, original tools and manuals all included in the sale.

Find this 1970 Porsche 914/6 available from LBI Limited for $110,000.
