One of most anticipated motorsport events of the summer? Road America says to look no further than this weekend’s IMSA festivities.
According to Road America, 2023 saw the track’s largest turnout for an IMSA race weekend in over four decades.
This year, however, the track anticipates even more attendees as the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the Michelin Pilot Challenge will be joined by the Mustang Challenge and the Porsche Carrera Cup.
Road America also notes that spectators will likely notice several improvements made around the circuit:
“Scenic viewing trails inside and outside turns 9 and 10, the newly named ‘The Bluffs’ at Turn 11, and a new pathway to Turn 12, known as ‘Canada Corner.’ Additional amenities include a new restroom facility with showers, an RV waste transfer station at Turn 1, fresh artistic carvings, and upgrades to ‘The Mission Foods 2Fast2Tasty Beach’ near Turn 11.”
